GCNS Youth Forum 2019

The GCNS Youth Forum 2019 is a by youth, for youth initiative that will bring together youths aged between 18 and 30 from around the ASEAN region. Themed "Empowering Youth: Creating A Sustainable Future" this year, this complimentary Forum aims to equip delegates with a deeper knowledge about sustainability, as well as a greater awareness of the roles that delegates can play in the future as thought leaders and change makers.

Find Your Ikigai @ South West

Find Your Ikigai @ South West

South West Community Development Council will be partnering Eurasian Association (EA) to launch the inaugural Find Your Ikigai @ South West Programme. “Ikigai” is a Japanese word to mean “ a reason for being”, which aligns with the programme objectives of empowering youth to write their personal success narrative and encouraging them to live it out while pursuing meaningful careers. There will be seven (7) sessions in this programme and they comprise small group life-coaching workshops, mindfulness meditation sessions and career guidance.

Through this programme, we hope to assist youth aged between 16 to 25 by guiding them in their life as they transit or prepare for the next phase in their lives. Youth can choose to attend any of the sessions but are encouraged to attend as many as possible to facilitate personal growth.
